The manuscripts and a copy of the copyright transfer form should be submitted to the editor at the address given on the inside of the front cover of each issue or on the journal website. The copyright transfer form is printed in the first issue of each volume. The manuscripts should be submitted as e-mail attachments to the editor. Authors should attach the electronic file including the manuscript, and the completed, signed and dated original copyright form to the editor. In addition, it is strongly recommended that authors should write the text using the template file prepared with the word processor “Microsoft word”(6.0 or newer version). The template file will be provided by editors.
Submission of Manuscripts
1. Language: All manuscript should be written in English or Korean.
2. Type of Manuscripts: Articles, Letters, Reviews, and Invited articles are published in Journal of the Korean Magnetic Resonance Society
3. Preparation of the Manuscript.
The manuscript should include the title, author’s name and address, running title, abstract, keywords (up to 5 with priority order), text and references. Manuscripts must be written in the template file provided.
The title should accurately, clearly, and concisely reflect the emphasis and content of the paper. The title must be brief and grammatically correct.
Author’s Names (English):
Use full names as the first, middle, and last name (e.g. Gil-Dong Hong, NOT G-H Hong). At least one author must be designated with a superscripted asterisk as the author to whom correspondence should be addressed. The name of the authors at different location should be indicated with superscripted Arabic numbers (1, 2, 3……….) in the name list.
The affiliation(s) listed should be the institution(s) where the work was conducted. The email address of the corresponding author should be provided as the last entry in the address portion on the title page.
All manuscripts (articles and letters) must contain and abstract, which should briefly state the reason for the work, the significant results, and the conclusions.
Text (Articles, English or Korean):
Most appropriate for publication in JKMRS are those that deal with all phases related with NMR, MRI, and ESR. Articles which expand finding previously published elsewhere and incorporate experimental data will also be accepted. And extensive reviews of new methods can be included. Thoughtful use of schemes and diagrams are recommended, so that even casual browsers can discern the nature of the work. Articles should use the section headings like INTRODUCTION, EXPERIMENTAL, RESULTS and DISCUSSION.
Text (Letters, English or Korean):
Letters report preliminary results whose immediate availability to the scientific community is deemed important, and whose topic is timely enough to justify the double publication that usually results from such publication. The length of a letter should not 3 printed pages and section headings should not be used in letters.
Figures, Schemes and Charts:
All must be mentioned in the text in consecutive order and be numbered with Arabic numericals (e.g. Fig. 1). The brief titles describing their contents must be given.
Table should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numericals (e.g. Table 1). The title should be understandable without reference to the text. Details should be put in footnotes, not in the title.
Accuracy and completeness (including all authors) of reference is the responsibility of the authors. References quoted in the text should be represented by Arabic numericals presented as unparenthesized superscripts. Examples of bibliographical references are given below:
1. J. Jeener, B. H. Meier, P. Bachmann, and R. R. Ernst, J. Chem. Phys. 71, 4546 (1979)
2. A. Abragam, “Principles of Nuclear Magnetism” Chap. 8, Oxford Univ. Press, London, 1961.
